Love vs. Hate

Funny how everything I think of somehow becomes a reality, literal dreams when I sleep and some I think of and stay in a state of confusion. yet sometimes things happen for a reason and this is how I see things happen before and what expect after. there is always that hatred that lingers in the corner, promotes hatred to leaders, country ro anything in relation to that.. took some time today on youtube to look for these things, because in my mind I always try to think positive and say that hey! there will be nothing wrong there.. but I end up being shocked when I see someone who is trying to bring up hate between us, between us and our leaders, between us and our links to the outside world.. and Oh dear Allah how things turn out to be when something they talk about is wrong.. karma!

I’ve been informed by so many people who know in marketing that had seen or learned from a survey that a satisfied customer will talk about his experience to an average of three “3″ people, while a dissatisfied customer will talk about his experience to eleven “11″.. wow!, isn’t that true!! when UAE was accused of bad treatment towards blue-collar workers “I hate that term” let me say the workers better. anyways when they started talking about it, it popped up on CNN, BBC ABC and take your guess at the rest of the alphabets.. everyone talked about it.. come 2011.. 2012? because I am writing this one hour before 2012 so I didn’t know how to say it. back to the point, come see the labour camps today, look at the luxury they have been given today in the UAE.. who spoke about it? no one.. ironic yah? seems that survey is quite real.

anyways, I have missed a speech of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Ruler of Dubai that he gave to a crowd of Emirati citizens so I saw it today on youtube and I was really interested in what he would say? what was the gathering for? is it a normal motivational speech? or is it something I didn’t hear before. and indeed I watched it, and to my surprise it is always an interesting speech no matter when or where I watch whatever has been posted about this man it just fails to bore me.. I stare at the screen mesmerized at what he says, and actually this was one of the best speeches I’ve heard from him.. got me thinking about the people who say that UAE is just a fake country that will crumble someday, or others who say that our rules just take our money and use it for their own benefits. then I saw some other videos about Emirati reactions to some extremists and how defensive they are about UAE and our rules, I was even shocked when I saw a video about a kuwaiti guy who was defending the UAE god bless him.

what I said in the beginning is what I think of / dream of becoming true, is that I deeply believe that whatever people say badly about Sheikh Mohammed, or any other ruler of the UAE is just a load of “*^%#” and it is totally not true. what I saw in the video today is a man who lived the unity of the united arab emirates, a man who helped making it, and a man who is doing his best to preserve it, now why would he take something for his benefit? in my point of view, I think that he deserves good, not only good, the best.. he deserves number one. like how he made us appear on the map of the world, and how everyone wants to be Dubayan!

someday I will walk up to him and shake his hands, I will greet him with the warmest greeting he will ever receive, and I will show him that I am a trooper of this country and I will be not only his right arm, but both hands and I’ll be the shoulder that this country wants to rely on. I want him to know that I will approach him after I am succesful and I don’t want him to help me to be succesful rather than to just recognize me and appreciate my efforts to be the man he expects every one of us to be, and of course he expects it from men and women.

I swore before and I’ll swear again to be faithful to this country, its rulers and it’s citizens and I will protect this land, our men and women, elders and children to the last drop of blood I bear.

I seriously can’t stress enough to say how much I love his music and the way he makes them to be honest.. he got that kind of difference that I felt when I first heard eminem blowing up on radio, he got featured in Def Jam poetry at a young age and I think that’s a great achievement for him, its kind of an approval that hey! your work is great! and he has that sort of backup to say hey! I was on Def Jam!!

well anyways he is one of his songs, and I hope you like it.

License suspended. Oops!!

So right now I’m in the dubai police headquarter, I just handed over my license damn it so I can pay my LAST fine!! God bless dubai police because I paid well over 18000dhs this year, and the previous year around 50000dhs. I’m not bragging but just saying that if dubai police gave 50% of that money to charity we might save Africa lol. But anyhow .. It’s a great feeling to have your license suspended, in my case for the second time, the first was because I was driving my car which was at the day under my father’s name. So it was funny enough that the officer said we will suspend your license because you are driving someone elses car. No hate to dubai police I think thy are doing their best to be the best, I’m just saying that they are a thousand miles away from that.

Ps. My license got suspended because of mobile radars.. And silly speeds, like 6000dhs for 140km/h. Way to go.

iPhone 4S!!

Yes!!! I got it at last!! Thanks to my mom and sis, I finally got my hands on the iPhone 4s, for now it does feel like my old iPhone 3G nevertheless its extremely faster, though doesnt seem faster than the normal 4 but it does have that feeling of the dual core. I know that the first dual core was the Samsung galaxy 2 but to be honest I tried the previous one and the android and I think that they still need some more experience in making a smart phone. Im not saying that its not good Im just saying that I didnt really like the experience of the galaxy and android together. So if there is anything new I will update soon!

Here I am standing in the metro shuttle going back to Rashydia station, after a nice five day schedule full of cars and cars and more cars, I’m loving it to be honest, this last trip from World Trade Center… Ahh my lovely smell of japanese,german and oh wait.. I don’t really like american.. So yeah..

Anyhow, the market seems like its back to the way it was in 2008, maybe a little bit under, let’s wait and see at the end of december. Competition is almost sparking between dealers, barely! Almost, just about to.. But naaaaah! No competition to be honest, everyone secured his market and everyone is just lazy to move… I wish if there was competition .. Then we would see actual models that was never launched in the region. Nevertheless there are some new entries like McLaren with the current MP4-12C flagship car (only car) at an incredible low 920,000dhs for this kind of car! I mean, ONLY ferrari fans will get the 458 italia, any other logic oriented person will get the MP4-12C since it outperforms the italia, more luxurious, faster, lighter etc. The 458 is for sheer fast track driving.. Let’s go down the ladder, porsche’s new 911 carrera and its ugly sweet fron grill, Pdk, oh wait.. Yeah looks the same but actually not, its a new generation (991), well yeah its nice and all, quality wise and performance is stunning… Just one thing.. Its from alnabooda… I had a Cayenne, and it broke my back with the extreme prices for “oil change and filter change” its a porsche.. Not bently.. But anyhoo what I really loved about the carrera is the 7-speed manual.. Hmmm.. How does the 7th feel.. Arrgh.. Ill get to know once I get my hands on a test drive…

Going even further down the ladder, forget the LFA, talk about the GS460h F-sports line, Oh my god! Amazingly styled, atlast something of my taste!! It looks 0.01% better than the BMW 5-series, has maybe more technology (I still have to go through hard paper), but the only disappointment for me currently is that there might not be any v8′s or a performance package hitting the market anytime soon.. So its a no no for now for the GS460h and a yes yes for the overpriced 550i.

And now hopping of the ladder and into the real world (my world) BMW M-coupe, Lexus IS-F, Toyota FT-86…

OFCOURSE FT-86!! Tureno forever man!!

The M-Coupe is awesome but AGMC made me feel that this 260,000dhs car is a Maybach and they order one per month or I dunno what period they said, I gave them my contact they still didn’t call me.. Thank god I cancelled my z4 35is order.. Don’t want to deal with such people.. They need to mature more… Lexus IS-F for 310,000dhs?? Oh please I’d add a 30k and get a M3 put 30k more and get an SLK55.. Sheesh.. On US web page it says IS-F is 220,000~dhs.. So .. No.. Never gonna happen.. I gave up on the nissan GT-R cause I’m not an idiot.. So why not give up on a car that I didn’t really relate to.

So it really came down to the FT-86 .. And you know what? .. I guess it will always come down to these kinds of cars, I never regret selling the cayenne and getting the honda s2000.. Actually I’m a more happy person now.. And it drives better hahahaha

So the ft-86 will basically be something similar .. Engine is very low, it has an amazing weight balance and very low center of gravity.. 4 cylinder boxer engine “flat” with a displacement of 2.0L and an output of 200bhp mated to a 6-gear manual transmission … A real drivers car .. Aaaaaahhhhh — pepsi effect lol

So yeah .. I reached my destination thanks for readingpa

Just another bad day..

anyways, its not really a bad day actually it has been a very delightful one to be honest, but why is the title of this post says bad day? well because I just want to say that sometimes even if it was a bad day, there is that something you turn to that will make your day a good one :) , I hope I did find that thing that turns every bad day into a wonderful time spent having a bad day hahaha because if it wasn’t a bad day there will be no nice times :P , if you never taste sour you will never know sweet, if you never felt bad you will not feel good!!

it depends on how you see the glass, you know .. the half empty or half full thing.. well I always try to think its half full, because I think most of the time people like to see it as half empty and have the urge to fill it up however they want, well I am happy to see that its half full because then I can fill it up with whatever is needed to be filled :D

YES!!! Finally leaked pictures of the final version !!! FT-86 !!! Yeppieee !!

Actually it doesn’t look as aggressive as the concept II but looks more attractive though, looks like the aerodynamics have been reworked, less low pressure zone in the back = less drag = better fuel economy.

Also the interior is amazingly “UNTOYOTA”, it doesn’t even hint that its neither a toyota or a subaru “Joint venture just in case you didn’t know”.. The instrument panel looks totally different from the original concept, gear, dashboard and whatever is there that wasn’t shown in the concept is now visible and OMG! Looks nice!!

On another note, I’m excited that mazda is going to SEMA with a turbo charged MX-5 and rumors that a new Dodge Viper is under development that will feature an 8.7 liter V10… Aaaah .. Sweet sweet news.. When will I ever hear something about the Honda S-line ..

Yaaay!! money daaay!! … wait .. damn .. not 17 anymore..

 so yeah, if you know me you would probably know how old am I, something that I really don’t like to discuss in public nor will I discuss it here…. because just like women.. I HATE AGING!!, damn it.. I’m aging too fast.. I remember it was yesterday when I first drove my first car.. And today I have owned 4 cars to date “cheap ass cars but I love them” and I tested maybe hundreds of cars new/old/sports/sedan/suvs whatever just name them..

but anyways, yeah I might get my salary today but I always remember after I do get it that.. wait .. I am not 17 anymore, or I don’t run alone anymore, I have responsibilities now .. its not a big deal to share with my peeps, just the thought of not having the freedom anymore to do, buy, play or whatever there is to do.. I might as well be married yah? since I already jumped to the responsible lifestyle .. need a woman damn it.. (o.O”) not so nice when no one is around when all is busy or don’t have the time for you…

the thing is when you do reach to the level of a household responsibility and you got people to feed and they rely on you, you feel the huge pressure of providing, sometimes I feel that I overdo which is good but the problem is when I feel that I cannot cope with it or can’t keep up with the demands… either way I am trying my best.. so for you out there, trust me if you are trying your best you will know and it will show.

Sometimes I wonder how music is attached to us directly, when we hear some tunes it just gets to us without even knowing it, you pass by mcdonalds or a place where they play random songs and you hear something that makes you hold on for a second, position yourself under the speaker to hear the song or sometimes the words then write it down on a piece of paper or your phone so you can hopefully find it later.

but at times there are songs or music tracks that are instrumental and has no words but are filled with ten times the emotions of a lyrical song, something that will just play the strings of your emotions, grab the attention of your soul and somehow deep inside you understand the meaning of it or relate to it somehow, this is how sometimes I feel about certain isntrumentals.

one of those songs is Rylynn by Andy McKee which I think a very nice acoustic instrumental, I consider it a must, and thanks for the recommendation :)

hats off.. wish I saw this sooner.

So I couldn’t sleep last night, and there was nothing to watch and I was extremely lazy to turn on my pc and load new stuff on the usb to watch on the big screen.. So I just popped in whatever usb was there next to the screen, and looked through but there was nothing “that” interesting.. However!! There was this old file that I previously downloaded and forever kept avoiding to watch it, because I had a feeling about it.

So I was bored to the bone “stone cold bored” <- I don't care that's how I wanna say it metaphorically!! LOL... <- defense mechanism .. Just incase.

So this video was about an automotive icon, a joy of a country governed by poverty, a father of their charity and a person who was labeled the fastest man alive.

He is the first and I think still the only one to have won three world championships in Formula one and on top of that he was still in his thirties. Honestly I didn't see something with this quality of representation before, I mean I saw one about Tupac Shakur but although I was sucked deep into that, still it didn't reach to the level of excitement I got watching that last night.

The story started gradually to build up, and I was waiting for that moment, waiting and waiting, because I knew previously about this icon, so my heart was kinda "blinking" waiting for the moment...

Anyways I do not want to ruin it if you are reading and got already interested, the documentary is about the race legend Ayrton Senna, and it was called SENNA, its a 2010 production.. And trust me I wish I saw it sooner..

Hats off to Senna...
